From looking at the unique copper orange hues of our NoPac Northwest IPA you might be thinking, is the juice worth the squeeze? The Great American Beer Festival thinks so, and so do we. Our 2019 silver medal winner has been a Crossbuck staple from the beginning. It’s dripping in piney resin and complex bitter orange peel. Gird your palate for hops on hops – a trio of citrus, pine, and floral aromas which is sure to have you coming back for more.

Best Agricultural Product Inspired Beer

This special brew is a unique Belgian white style ale, brewed with all local ingredients including certified salmon safe barley sourced from H.T. Rea Farms in Walla Walla and wheat from Diamond-S Farms in Colton, WA which is then malted by local Mainstem Malt in Montana by Montana Craft Malt. The Lavender is sourced from Blue Mountain Lavender Farms in Walla Walla County.

Switcher, Kölsch
ABV %: 5.2 | IBU: 25

Kolsch is known as the switch hitter of beers; it likes its fermentation on top with ale yeast and is finished in cold temperatures like a lager. Brewed with Mandarina Bavaria hops which has an aromatic delight of light spice, citrus, biscuit, and rounded out with a tangerine finish.

JuicePac, American IPA
ABV %: 6.6 | IBU: 65

For a fun experiment we brewed our flagship American IPA with our hazy/juicy yeast strain. Everything is the same as NoPac, the only difference is the yeast; it’s amazing how something as simple as that can change the beer this much. Brewed with Magnum, Chinook, Citra, Simcoe, and Cascade hops, the aroma of this beer is orange peel, pine resin, and tons of citrus, with a flavor palette including hints of grapefruit, orange peel, floral, and pine, citrus bomb with some light malt notes.

Dude, Where’s My Hefe?, Hefeweizen

An American Hefeweizen so crushable that it will be disappearing from your hand. Brewed with Cascade, Lemon drop, and Chinook Hops for a light golden with mild haze and an aroma of zesty lemon and fresh bread. Cheers!

Pilsner, German Pils
ABV %: 5.4 | IBU: 34

Our Crossbuck Pilsner is clean, crisp, and refreshing. This classic German style brew tastes of toasted cracker, honey, fresh cut grass, and a touch of spice to add a snappy finish. It shines luminous gold colors with a velvety white foam.

Food pairings include ribeye, pork belly, T-bone steak, and prime rib. Excellent with seafood: salmon, calamari, crab, clams, shrimp, and lobster. Sausages including chorizo, andouille, and merguez. Bacon, sausage, and any other breakfast meats work wonderfully.

I have a Special Request for you, NW IPA dripping in citrus and resinous pine with notes of blueberry, dry crisp finish with restrained bitterness and notes of light caramel malt.


Jordan Hunt

Head Brewer

Jordan is a passionate and dedicated Head Brewer with a track record of crafting high-quality, award-winning beers. He joined the company in June of 2023, eager to continue his brewing journey and contribute to the growth of the Crossbuck brand across the state and beyond.

Prior to his current position, Jordan served as the Operations Manager and Head Brewer for Mt. View Brewing, Golden Row Cider, and Grateful Vineyard in Parkdale, OR from 2021 to 2023. During his tenure, he achieved remarkable success, including winning a silver medal at the Oregon Beer Awards for his Hazy IPA and a gold medal for his peach cider at the SIP Best of the Northwest Cider Awards. Before that, Jordan honed his skills as a production brewer at Sunriver Brewing Company, renowned as one of the most award-winning breweries in Central Oregon.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jordan takes great pride in his personal life. He is a dedicated family man, happily married to his wife, Cynthia Hunt, for six years. They first met when Cynthia attended one of Jordan’s country western dance classes, and they have been partners in crime ever since. Together, they have raised two wonderful children and also have three adorable rescue dogs: Mylo, Pip, and Indie.

Known for his friendly demeanor, Jordan is always on the go. When he’s not busy brewing award-winning beers, you can find him refereeing high school soccer matches, teaching dance lessons, or volunteering with local non-profits. He is deeply involved in his community and believes in making a positive impact wherever he can.
