Switcher, Kolsch
ABV %: 5.2 | IBU: 25

Kolsch is known as the switch hitter of beers; it likes its fermentation on top with ale yeast and is finished in cold temperatures like a lager. Brewed with Mandarina Bavaria hops which has an aromatic delight of light spice, citrus, biscuit, and toast.

Hazy Schmazy, NE Hazy IPA
ABV %: 6.5 | IBU: 50

Hazy Schmazy got you guessing what all the confusion is about. Schmaybe you want to wake up on a tropical beach and gobble down mango, passionfruit, guava, and pineapple. Or schmaybe you want to take a hike and smell fresh pine resin, essential oils, and citrus terpenes. Schmaybe you want it all. If drinking this Hazy IPA schmaybe wrong, then I don’t want to be right.

NoPac, Northwest IPA
ABV %: 6.6 | IBU: 65

From looking at the unique copper orange hues of our NoPac Northwest IPA you might be thinking, is the juice worth the squeeze? The Great American Beer Festival thinks so, and so do we. Our 2019 silver medal winner has been a Crossbuck staple from the beginning. It’s dripping in piney resin and complex bitter orange peel. Gird your palate for hops on hops – a trio of citrus, pine, and floral aromas which is sure to have you coming back for more.

Rugged Red, Rye Ale
ABV %: 6.2 | IBU: 53

True to its name, rye’s ability to thrive under poor soil conditions and cold temperatures has long made it a great ingredient to substitute for barley malt.  This beer has grapefruit and herbal notes, countered by the dry spiciness of rye, and the malty richness holds a steady balance between contrasting malt and hop character. This pours a spectacular malted crimson with creamy, tan head.

Stack Car
ABV %: 8.0 | IBU: 95

A Double IPA so lavish, it might get you thinking it’s going to run off with your money. This Double West Coast IPA has stacks on stacks of hops. We’re constantly altering the hop build with Loral, CTZ, Cryo-Sabro, Amarillo, and Pahto varities. It’s rich, orange color with a billowy, white head draws your nose to the finer things. Aromas of pine drops, scattered rose petals, and coconut floats upon it like the clouds.

Pilsner, German Pils
ABV %: 5.4 | IBU: 34

Our Crossbuck Pilsner is clean, crisp, and refreshing. This classic German style brew tastes of toasted cracker, honey, fresh cut grass, and a touch of spice to add a snappy finish. It shines luminous gold colors with a velvety white foam.

Food pairings include ribeye, pork belly, T-bone steak, and prime rib. Excellent with seafood: salmon, calamari, crab, clams, shrimp, and lobster. Sausages including chorizo, andouille, and merguez. Bacon, sausage, and any other breakfast meats work wonderfully.

Paddock Road, Hefeweizen
ABV %: 5.3 | IBU: 15

Take a trip down Paddock Road, brewed with a local mainstem malt that fits right in to this Bavarian Hefeweizen. A pale, refreshing German wheat beer with high carbonation, dry finish, fluffy mouthfeel, and a distinctive banana and close-yeast character. Effervescent!

Yard Goat, Oatmeal Stout
ABV %: 5.7 | IBU: 29

Yard Goat, an old railroad slang term for an engine that switches a train to get ready for another locomotive. Bread and biscuit flavors give way to layers of chocolate and a slightly roasted coffee finish. The oats add a smooth texture and body, while not being too heavy. It pours an opaque brownish-black with tan head.

Jared Jordan

Assistant Brewer/Sales
jared@crossbuckbrewing.com

Jared Jordan joined the Crossbuck Brewing team in September 2021, hoping to be a part of putting Walla Walla on the map as a brewery destination on par with the local wine industry. A Walla Walla native, Jared learned to brew beer from his dad and the two practiced their home brewing skills in the garage, with his mom serving as quality control.

Prior to becoming part of the Crossbuck team, Jared worked for the Forest Service as the Hells Canyon River Ranger on the Snake River where he managed the rafting and kayaking program patrolling the river to ensure river permit compliance and safety. Jared loves exploring the outdoors with his wife and dog and says you can usually find them floating down a river, kayaking, mountain biking and skiing.
